The vast majority of intimacy aids can be narrowed down to the question - are they safe?  If they present any harm then by all means they should not be allowed to be used during your intimacy.  You definitely want to focus on safety first.  Agreement on toys.  Christian sex advice often stresses that couples should wholeheartedly agree on their positions and practices.  This also holds true for toys.  If one of you is uncomfortable with a particular toy then it should be excluded.  Their are many other pleasure aids available that you should be able to find which you both can agree on and derive added pleasure from. No Substitute.  Finally, intimacy toys should not be a substitute for sex and pleasure between one another.  They should only aid, assist, or compliment the pleasures of sex.
